LEADERSHIP

Manuel (Manny) Martinez is the Principal of Urbana Investments. 

He has over 30 years of experience in real estate development and has managed all aspects of the development process, including sourcing opportunities, conceptualizing business plans, underwriting, negotiating property acquisitions, securing entitlements, managing full design and permitting, arranging financing, negotiating construction contract, supervising construction, coordinating sales and leasing, and overseeing asset management and disposition. 

Throughout his career, Manny has developed more than $1.5 billion in real estate assets. His portfolio includes over 9,000 residential units across flagship condominium and luxury rental communities, student housing, and mixed-use developments. He has developed all residential prototypes including high rise buildings, mid-rise buildings, garden-style, townhomes and single-family homes. Several of his projects have received national design awards. Manny has held development leadership roles at Integra, Greystar, Trinsic, Altman, and Cornerstone. He has also developed over 57,000 Sq. Ft. of commercial space, and affordable housing for nonprofit organizations in Boston and Miami. 

Manny holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico and two master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, one in Real Estate Development and the other in Urban Planning.
